Finally, Nice Weather!

The past week or so has brought beautiful weather...finally!

Yesterday we made a squeezeable sidewalk chalk out of cornstarch and baking soda.  The best part was spraying vinegar on it afterwards and watching their artwork foam up!

Ben lost yet another tooth!! 

His class took a fun Field trip to Lowes and planted a sunflower.

Anna and her friend Harper both picked Supergirl shirts to wear the other day. Super cute super girls!

Reading to Chai

Our public library has a program where elementary students can read to a "listening dog".  Ben loves participating and today he got to read for 15 minutes to a sweet dog named Chai.  Anna wanted to get in on the fun, too, so she sat up front with a book, too.

After ten times, Ben will get a free book from the library.  He is halfway there!!

Upward!!

Ben and Anna are playing basketball and cheerleading this season with Upward through our church. It has been so fun for both of them!!  This is the first time Ben has played basketball, and he is already scoring baskets each game!!  In fact, he scored the very first basket in the first game for his team.

Each game, they announce the cheerleaders, and one by one, they run through the Upward basketball sign and form a line. Then the cheerleaders cheer for each players as they call them out by teams. They look so cute running out through the big basketball!!

Anna has learned more and more cheers with each game, her favorite one is when they use their megaphone to yell "Defense!" and then bang it on the floor.

Baby It's Cold Outside!!

Thanksgiving 2015

We had a great Thanksgiving!  First we celebrated with our TN family on Wednesday...I'm sad I don't have any pics but I was not feeling very well at all and I just sat on the couch list of the time and rested :(

Then we traveled to celebrate with our NC family for a few days. I actually didn't take these pics either but Mark and Uncle Dolph sent them to me. Good times with Grandaddy Dunn!!  He is loved by many kids, grandkids, and he he is with some of his great-grandchildren!!

Ben's First Lost Tooth!

Ben has lost his first tooth!!  It was loose all week, and he came home from school Friday and it was gone! He said it came out at lunch when he ate a "hard piece of chicken", and that it might be on the cafeteria floor, but he doesn't know. Haha!!  (What must the janitor think?!)

So, we left the Tooth Fairy a Butterfinger Bite piece of candy in liu of the tooth, and the next morning...Ben had two gold dollar coins!!

Over Fall Break, we went on a Disney cruise with three other families from church. It was a super fun time, and the kids were over the moon to be on a cruise AND spend 5 days with their buddies!  Here are some of our favorite pictures:

We had a group costume for all 15 of us one night and we were all Coca Cola bottles!  It was definitely the hit of the whole ship.
